Knit-In for Charity this weekend!

Pat Turner has asked me to pass along this message:

The ladies of the Soulful Knitting Ministry at Countryside Christian Church cordially invite all knitters to join us for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and food as we knit scarves for the homeless and for victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Knit-In will be held this weekend, on Saturday, December 10 from 1:00 to 5:00 at Countryside Christian Church, 3509 Old Hundred Road, Midlothian VA 23112 (between Genito and Hull Street Road). Bring your own yarn and needles and knit a scarf for a needy adult, teen or child. Seating is limited, please RSVP at 804-722-8236 or We look forward to seeing you there! **
Saturday is my dad's birthday and we're having a "thing" for him that evening, but I will still try to attend this, if possible. I'm looking forward to meeting some local knitters!
