I love it when the weather map looks like this in wintertime, especially on a weekend:
In preparation, I have a crock pot of soup simmering, a stocked refrigerator, a couple of knitting projects to work on, the Olympics on TV -- I'm set. Snug as a bug. Three to five inches of snow are predicted for our area by tomorrow morning. Bring it on!

I love this weather too! With any luck, I won't have to go to Staunton tomorrow to play a concert. I'm about to head out to Ukrops to get supplies. Soup sounds good. Maybe I'll do that too. Happy Winter.
4:30 and no snow yet. booo hoooo. Still I've started the pot roast, the chicken soup is done. I have a book, my fiber videos, and my knitting and I've emptied the trash!! Let it snow let it snow let it snow.
Two inches out here in Hanover. A bit of a disappointment, but still pretty.
