Bleh

*
Just came back from the doctor and the pharmacy, from which I took half of it home with me. Got me a nasty case of bronchitis, and am loaded up with all the requisite meds:

Clockwise from left: Vitamin C megadoses, codeine cough syrup, (oh yeah, baby!),
Mucinex expectorant, Ibuprofen, Cephalexin antibiotic, Proventil inhaler

*

Had my first ever nebulizer experience at the doctor's office, which was interesting, (and helpful). For days I haven't been able to take a deep breath without an uncontrollable spasm of coughing, and so I've been breathing shallowly, which is never good. Nights are worse, because I have a nifty-cool whistle-wheeze when I lie down.

The worst of it, beyond the spasmatic coughing, wheezing, dripping, hacking, congested, achy, no sleep experience, is that I'm staying home from TNK tonight so that I won't spread this around. Talk about insult upon injury!

[Commence whining now: waaaaaaaaaaaa!]

I suppose I'll survive.

I'm sorry that you're so sick, Mary. Take good care of yourself and watch out for pneumonia. Tell the kitties that Momma is off duty for a while!

Please let me know if you need anything, okay? My husband and son are in the same shape as you are. My daughter and I are debating where to quarantine the two of them; the crawl space perhaps??

I hate new blogger -- I had a whole great post and it ate it while it asked for me to log in.

Some of it -- I hoped your wheeze and whistle wasn't like my wheeze and whistle - but it seems like it was --

rest and feel better

oh did the nebulizer treatment at the doctor make you as dizzy as it does me - or am I the only one.

now watch word verification will kick my butt and make me do it 3 times.

Your title says it all, poor thing. Hope you feel better soon. And as for those Halls drops, it may be too late for "Defense", unless it is true what they say about "Your best offense is a good defense"!!

I'm so sorry you are feeling bad...this crap is going around! Plenty of knitting time if you can sit upright for periods of time!
Take care of yourself...
